Location of Misty Mountain Camp Resort Misty Mountain Camp Resort Misty Mountain Camp Resort is located a short distance off I-64 from exit 107. The woodland camp has easy access to the numerous activities and attractions that the surrounding area offers. Multiple wineries are just minutes away. Natural wonders of the Blue Ridge Mountains are an easy drive from here, as is the entrance to the Skyline Drive of the Shenandoah National Park. Presidents abound at Monticello, Ash-Lawn, Montpelier, and Woodrow Wilson's birthplace. Misty Mountain is also a great place for those looking to get away from the city and enjoy some camping. There are tent sites, cabins, and full hook-ups for RV's, including 'big rig' sites. You can choose a wooded site or a creek side site to stay in. There are many amenities to make your stay a fun one. There is a swimming pool, playgrounds, game room, sports field, fishing pond, and a recreation building. They also have a general store and gift shop with groceries, RV supplies, firewood, ice, and LP gas. Then for your convenience they also have a laundry room and restrooms with free hot showers. The camp has activities for the entire family throughout the year. You can be assured of having a great time on your visit here. |
