Location of Pearrygin Lake State Park Pearrygin Lake State Park Pearrygin Lake State Park is a camping park in the Methow Valley in north central Washington, located four miles northeast of Winthrop. The park opened in 1964 as a state park recreation area. Renovation and construction of the campground was done in 1972. In 2004, the campground was expanded with 94 more acres, including a store, hayfield and the West Campground. The park has beautiful green lawns and 11,000 feet of waterfront on Pearrygin Lake. There is a boat launch and 60 feet of dock area. The lake offers boating, swimming, and fishing. The East Campground has 30 unsheltered picnic tables. Old willows and ash provide shade on hot summer days. Available in the day-use area are a bathhouse, marked swimming beach, four barbecue stands, a volleyball court and a large lawn with shade trees. Picnic sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is wheel chair access to one picnic site and the bathhouse. |
