Location of Cold Harbor National Cemetery Cold Harbor National Cemetery Located by Cold Harbor Battlefield is the Cold Harbor National Military Cemetery. Established April 30, 11866, the cemetery contains the remains of over 2,000 Union Soldiers, more than 1,300 of whom are unknown. The cemetery contains soldiers from the Civil War and others that have served our country during times of war since. KAT'S VIEW The National Cemetery was made up of soldiers who died in war. There was a memorial and a stone where 889 Union soldiers were buried next to it. One soldier (Augustis Berry) had a Medal of Honor. He was the only one I saw who had that medal. |
