Pocatello, named after the famous Shoshone Chief, is the largest city in southeastern Idaho. It's location makes the town a perfect place to use as a base for your explorations of the region. Your trip should start with a stroll through old town Pocatello. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to the nearby Bear Lake Recreation Area for some great fishing and boating or the Pebble Creek Ski Area. You can also take in a history lesson with a trip to the Oregon/California Trail Center in nearby Montpelier. |
