Greenville is a historic town that was important when the Erie Canal Extension was greatly used in the mid-1800's. There were several hotels and the town was thriving. Today you can learn about the history of the canal and other regional history in Greenville's great museums. The town has some great older buildings that add lots of character. This is a nice little town with friendly residents. A great place to visit. |
