Greenville is located near the foot hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It contains a mixture of old and new architecture to create a charming mid-size town. Greenville originally prospered as a major textile area, but when that market left the country, Greenville reinvented itself and has become an area that attracts major international corporations including BMW and Michelin. The Reedy River was important in the history and development of the town. Falls Park on the Reedy celebrates this and gives an impressive view of the 60 foot waterfalls in the center of town. There are lots of parks, history and outdoor activities to be enjoyed when you visit Greenville. |
