Ogden is a larger city at the north end of the "Wasatch Front." Named after the Wasatch mountains that border it to the east, the Wasatch Front is a 100 mile long corridor running from Ogden south to Provo that contains much of the state's population. Ogden is a beautiful city that has a lot to offer its visitors both in and around town. Nine museums scattered through the city will show you the history of everything from guns to the railroad. Outside of town, the Great Salt Lake provides great sailing and boating and the Wasatch Mountains are an outdoor playground with activities ranging from hiking and biking to some of the best skiing in the world. In the unlikely event that you run out of things to do in Ogden, Salt Lake City is only an hour's drive away. |
