Aberdeen was built at the base of Gray's Harbor during the boom days of logging in the 1800's. The town, just 3 hours from Seattle, is a popular stop for travelers heading for the sandy beaches of the Pacific coast. Aberdeen's residential areas exhibit architecture that is reflective of its old-world origins. You can take a step back into the town's history at the Aberdeen Historical Museum or by viewing the many murals painted all over the area. |
