Colfax was settled in the 1860's and is one of the oldest established communities in Eastern Washington. The main industry of the area is agriculture. Beautiful rolling wheat fields surround the area. Enjoy viewing stately homes built in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Recently, the town made improvements by adding historic street lamps and trees to the Main Street of town. Colfax has a charming downtown with many antique, craft and jewelry stores to enjoy. |
