Everett has many daytime activities to keep a person busy. It is home to the World's largest building, the Boeing 747 assembly plant at Paine Field. There are tours available that will fascinate people of all ages. Visit the Children's Museum for a hands-on experience in science, art, history and culture. Stop by the Everett Center for the Arts to view a collection of Pilchuck Glass. For those who enjoy outdoor pleasure, there is the Spencer Island Wetlands, 1,900 acres of urban wetlands with native wildlife. You can get there along an established nature trail, or for the more adventurous, go by boat, canoe or kayak! Take the free ferry to Jetty Island to enjoy beaches, a nature trail and native wildlife. |
