Kelso is a small town located on I-5 at the confluence of the Cowlitz, Coweeman and Columbia Rivers. The city is the Cowlitz County seat and is home to a Volcano Information Center and the Cowlitz County Museum which showcases the heritage of the people of the lower Columbia region. Kelso's proximity to Mount St. Helens and the Columbia River make it a great place to stay while you take a day trip to the mountain or take fishing trips to the river. |
