Kingston has a friendly downtown district and waterfront. Ride the ferry here from Edmonds (just north of Seattle). From May to October, enjoy a lively open-air farmers market every Saturday on the green at the marina. Visit the cozy cafes and shops throughout town and take a short side-trip to the north to see the grand Point No Point lighthouse. You can also enjoy great salmon fishing in the waters of Puget Sound, Hood Canal and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
