They also have three rifles on display that are pre-revolutionary. Watch as they form the barrel and bore it out. See the fine craftsmanship that goes into the stalk. Questions are encouraged. Learn what it would be like to have this profession in the 18th century. There is much more involved than I had ever imagined. KAT'S VIEW The gunsmith made guns, what else? They also need to know blacksmithing to weld the metal for the guns. Then they put it on a machine that turns it round and round. It looks like a lot of work to make a gun. |
