Location of Randolph House and Kitchen Colonial Williamsburg The Randolph House and Kitchen was a very large house compared to most here. We were not able to go inside when we were visiting, but it belonged to Peyton Randolph, the first president of the Continental Congress. The house has recently been reopened after a state-of-art restoration based on two decades of research and a room-by-room original inventory taken at the time of Randolph's death. Several of the outbuildings have been rebuilt on the site. Experience how the wealthy influential people of the area lived. |
