Location of Dol Duc River Sol Duc River The Sol Duc, meaning sparkling water, begins in the Seven
Lakes Basin in the Olympic National Park. It flows over boulder fields
rushing downstream to join with the Bogachiel to form the Quillayute River. The river has more whitewater than the other rivers in the region providing fishermen with an exciting time. There is excellent seasonal fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, and Rainbow Trout. This is one of the few places where the salmon run in every season. |
