Location of Tucannon River Tucannon River Located on the edge of the Blue Mountains in the Southeast corner of the state, the Tucannon River Valley is home to some of the Northwest's best hunting and fishing, along with a whole lot of beautiful scenery. The river and ponds scattered throughout the area are full of rainbow, brown and brook trout. During the Winter months, the river is populated with steelhead and whitefish. There are so many fish in the area, its almost impossible to not catch anything. With a huge population of deer as well as elk, bear and wild turkeys, the Tucannon area is one of the premiere hunting grounds in Washington State. |
