Location of Wenatchee River Wenatchee River Wenatchee is a bustling but relatively small town in North Central Washington with 26,000 people within city limits and 65,000 in the surrounding areas. The town's close proximity to recreation of all kinds, laid back atmosphere and great climate make it a popular tourist destination. During the winter months, Wenatchee is just a short drive from downhill and cross-country skiing and snowboarding. In the warmer months, the Wenatchee Valley thrives with every sport imaginable, including boating, swimming, camping, fishing, hiking, mountain-biking, parasailing, hang gliding, and rock climbing. No matter what you are looking for, Wenatchee has something to suit every taste. |
