Location of Dunedin Historical Museum Dunedin Historical Museum The Dunedin Historical Museum in downtown Dunedin is run by the Dunedin Historical Society inc. Located on Main Street next to the Pinellas Trail, it is on the original depot site and features a railroad exhibit. Also on exhibit are vintage artifacts and the history of Dunedin. A nice feature for quality family time is the hands on area for kids to experience history and make it come alive. It is the only museum in the area to have the complete collection of Dunedin's newspaper. The museum also has a large section dedicated to traveling exhibitions offering visitors more variety. The museum is also host to living history programs. These include 1890's vintage Baseball games, played by 1890 rules in authentic uniforms, and History Comes Alive at the Historic Dunedin Cemetery. |
