Braves Leaderboard

Atlanta leaders in pitching in hitting. Updated daily, the board keeps
visitors abreast of upcoming Braves records and milestones.
The Early Days of Atlanta Baseball
Baseball began in Atlanta in 1866, exactly 100 years before the Atlanta Braves began their
first season. A permanent photo exhibit featuring baseball in Atlanta before
the Braves, specifically the Atlanta Crackers (1901-65) and Atlanta Black
Crackers, opened on the Lexus Level in 2002. Photos of influential leaders,
key players and the home of both teams, Ponce de Leon Park, are all part of
this reminiscent and educational display.
