The museum's most prized items are four 3-Pound bronze cannon cast by Paul Revere in his foundry in Boston in 1798 for the State of Rhode Island. The museum also has an extensive collection of military uniforms from such notables as: U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, and Generals Abrams, Leominster and Westmoreland. Also, items from such foreign dignitaries as, the uniforms of the England's Prince Phillip, the late King Hussein of Jordan and the only remaining dress uniform of the late Egyptian President Anwar Sadat.

The museum boasts a collection of 15 cannon from the 1798 to WW II. In addition to the 4 Revere cannon, the museum has 3 original Civil War Cannon, 1 World War I cannon and 2 World War II pieces. The collection includes many interesting exhibits of historic artifacts of the State of Rhode Island including items belonging to Rhode Island Civil War general, Gen.
