The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry will thrill your young children. There is sure to be an area that will captivate each child. The entire museum is strictly hands and imaginations on!

Each room in the museum has a different theme. In the Creativity Castle there are all kinds of materials to create a masterpiece. There are featured crafts that the children can do or they can dream up their own creation. In Castle Stories, children can explore and pretend they live in a castle. There are little rooms and secret passageways to dream up and act out your own fairy tale.

In Raceways discover Newton's laws of motion using golf balls and ramps to understand force, friction, and gravity. In WaterWise play with the boats and see how water through the dam lights up the city. In Shrimping on the Anna Marie pretend to be a shrimp boat captain. Cast your nets and count your catch. Use the signal flags to send your message to others.

In Building Zone, use the giant Legos and built whatever you can imagine then tear it all down and imagine more! In Totally Toddler & Infants Too the little ones can find lots to keep them busy in a safe, fun, and educational environment. They will definitely be ready for a nap when they leave!

KAT'S VIEW

You can pretend you are a fisherman of light up a city. Put together building blocks. This is a good place for your child to learn. If you have an infant there is a room for them to play in that makes it impossible to get hurt. Your child will not want to leave the museum.
