As you enter into the rotunda, you will view the tombs of General MacArthur and his wife Jean MacArthur. Also displayed are many of the battle flags he was involved in. Then you proceed through the various galleries that begin with the early years and proceed on through his life. You can view many of his artifacts, gifts received from various dignitaries around the world, and many of his quotes and speech excerpts.

Admission to the museum is free. This museum provides a glimpse into MacArthur's life and the times he lived through, the wars and times of peace. Renew your faith in Country, Duty, and Honor, values which have served to maintain our country and through which Douglas MacArthur so magnificently displayed.

KAT'S VIEW

The MacArthur Memorial was nice. There were tons of medals that General MacArthur earned including a Purple Heart, a Silver Star, just tons of them. He even had a Medal of Honor. They had his pipe, his hat, even his eyeglasses there. They had a bunch of flags and models, too.
