Location of Lake Chelan Historical Museum Lake Chelan Historical Museum The Lake Chelan Historical Museum was founded in 1972 by the Lake Chelan Historical Society. The museum features two stories of exhibits that feature artifacts from Lake Chelan’s past. This includes collections of Native American artifacts and artifacts from the town’s early pioneer days. The museum also displays a rare collection of historical videos and photographs of local family history. These exhibits showcase what life was like in the early days of the Chelan Valley.
