Location of Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum Open daily May - October, 2:00 to 5:00 PM This museum is a National Heritage Foundation. The collection is one of the world's largest with over 5,000 pieces from all cultures. Nutcrackers date from the 1,500's to present day. Also on display are nut bowls that archeologists have dated back 4,000 to 8,000 years. There are carved wooden nutcrackers. Nutcrackers crafted in many different metals as well as ivory and porcelain. There are toy soldiers of all shapes and sizes and a large variety of Christmas theme nutcrackers.
