Seattle Center is a 87-acre campus, home to 21 cultural, educational, sports and entertainment organizations.

First coming together as the site of the 1962 World’s Fair, the Center’s landscaped grounds are free to visit and include the dramatic International Fountain and sculptures for children to play on. With over 21 attractions to visit, you can go from a roller coaster to a cultural festival to a concert or show at Key Arena.

As one of the nation’s best gathering places, Seattle Center is home to:

  • 7 Recirculating Fountains
  • 14 Stages
  • 8 event facilities
  • 3 museums
  • 3 sports teams
  • 13 cultural festivals
  • 5,300 Free public performances

On-site attractions include, Seattle Center House, Seattle Center Monorail, Fun Forest Amusement Park, Pacific Science Center, The Children’s Museum, the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Space Needle, Experience Music Project, Key Arena, McCaw Hall and more.

The new Fisher Pavilion, opened in 2002, is home to 13 cultural festivals. It’s rooftop plaza and front glass wall offers a panoramic view to the International Fountain and Queen Anne Hill.

The International Fountain operates with synchronized water & music shows on the hour, every day, and periodically throughout each hour.
