Location of Washington Apple Commission Visitors Center Washington Apple Commission
Visitors Center Visit the Washington Apple Commission Visitors Center and learn about the state's largest agricultural industry. More than 3,500 tree fruit growers across the state produce billions of pounds of fruit, including apples, cherries, and soft fruits such as peaches. Washington provides more than half the fresh apples eaten in America. Even more is exported around the world. Learn about how growers produce this fruit. There is a lot of work that has to be done each season to keep their orchards healthy and productive. Pictures of Washington Apple Commission were taken by Darryl Franklin |
