Custer National Cemetery Custer National Cemetery The National Custer Cemetery is where many of the veterans and casualties of war have been buried. This includes the casualties of the Battle of Little Bighorn. Before the cemetery was built, many of the casualties of the battle were buried where they fell. Over the years, cemetery staff and archeologists have found more casualties, the names of most are unknown. The soldiers buried here were those of the Indian Wars, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam. |
