American Guest House
The American Guest House opened in January, 2005, in the heart of Washington, DC. Innkeepers Lucia and Claudio Rosan have recently remodeled the 110 year old house. They have 11 rooms, all with private baths, for you to choose from. The house had central heat and air conditioning. Each room also has free wireless access, telephone, and TV. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and the plush bedding will wrap you in comfort. There is also a computer in the parlor that guests are free to use. Breakfast is served Continental style with fresh pastries, cereals, and more to start your day. All this and they are very reasonably priced when compared to the hotels in the area.
The inn is located in the middle of all that is happening in DC. Only half a mile from Dupont Circle with restaurants, night life, and shopping all within walking distance. A ten minute walk to the metro station takes you most anywhere in DC. The National Zoo is just a mile away, the Mall is 1 1/2 miles, and the Convention Center is 3 miles away. You can also catch a taxi or the bus right out the front door. When your day in the city is done, come back and relax in the quiet comfort awaiting you.
