Location of St. Joe River St. Joe River The 120 miles of the St. Joe River in Idaho's panhandle provides you with quality fly-fishing opportunities. Some parts of the river are catch and release only. The waters are emerald with moss-covered, cedar lined banks. There are 60 miles of the river that have been declared part of the National Wild and Scenic River system. Fish for cutthroat, rainbow and brook trout as well as mountain whitefish. |
