Location of the Columbia River Columbia River The Columbia River is the second largest river in volume on the continent. It flows down from Canada into Washington State. It makes a winding track through the state and then forms the border between Washington and Oregon until it reaches the Pacific Ocean. All types of fishing are done on this river. One of the more popular types of fish to catch is the prehistoric Sturgeon. Then there are the Steelhead, Salmon, Walleye, and Trout. |
