Location of Cedar Creek State Park Cedar Creek State Park Nestled in the heart of West Virginia, Cedar Creek State Park's 2,483 lush acres are just 25 miles west of Interstate 79. This pastoral setting of rolling hills and wide valleys provides an ideal backdrop for a wide variety of recreational opportunities from cycling to pleasant family strolls. The three lakes at Cedar Creek are seasonally stocked fishing. Trout are stocked in late winter and early spring, muskie in summer and bass and catfish may be caught year-round. Fourteen miles of trails offer guests a range of hiking experiences from leisure to challenging. Hikes are an excellent opportunity to observe the park's abundant wildlife. |
