Location of Beartooth Lake Beartooth Lake Beartooth Lake is located in the northwest corner of Wyoming near Yellowstone National Park. This area receives lots of snow in the winter and the road is not maintained. It is usually plowed open by Memorial Day. The road is popular with snowmobiles in the winter. There is a campground located on Beartooth Lake. The lake is most popular for fishing for brook trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, Yellowstone cutthroat and artic grayling. |
