Location of Gulf Coast Museum of Fine Art Gulf Coast Museum of Fine Art The Gulf Coast Museum of Art is located at the Pinewood Cultural Park. It was founded in 1936. They present a diverse and ever-changing exhibition schedule. At the time of our visit the ceramics of Barbara Sorenson were being showcased. The museum also collects contemporary art created by Florida artists and also American fine crafts, mostly from the Southeastern United States. This museum also has many classes. It is a 45,000 sq. ft. campus that teaches painting, ceramics, metalsmithing, sculpture, and photography. These studio classes are for adults and children. There are also Master Artist Workshops, lectures, film programs, and special events. |
