Location Gwinnett County Veterans War Memorial Museum Gwinnett County Veterans War Memorial Museum The Gwinnett County Veterans War Memorial Museum located at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse on the Square in downtown Lawrenceville continues to be a destination attraction in Gwinnett County. The American Legion Post 232 of Snellville, Georgia in conjunction with the Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation established the museum as a tribute to the brave men and women who defended our land and liberties from the Revolutionary War to the present. Celebrating all branches of the military, the impressive museum is an incredible collection of war memorabilia. The exhibits have been compiled by the Gwinnett Veterans Council and include Veterans' personal stories. The museum has free Admission and parking and is for all ages to come and enjoy. The hours of operation are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday. The museum is a must see and has been designed to serve as an educational center and memorial for generations to come. |
