Location of World of Coca Cola Atlanta World of Coca Cola Atlanta Creating A Classic is the first gallery on your self-guided tour. More than a century of Coca-Cola history begins here, with memorabilia and interactive video stations throughout your visit. This gallery features the Bottling Fantasy, an unusual kinetic sculpture depicting a fanciful look at the Coca-Cola bottling process. Gallery artifacts span the period 1886 to 1926. The Pause That Refreshes, the second gallery, houses the replica late-1930s Barnes Soda Fountain, where an old-fashioned "soda jerk" demonstrates how an early Coca-Cola was prepared and served. Original songs about Coca-Cola, as well as rebroadcasts of radio programs sponsored by the Company, are played on an authentic 1930s jukebox. This gallery gives an enlightening look at the worldwide expansion of Coca-Cola, from the mid 1920’s to 1950. Perfect Pauses, our surround sound theater, highlights classic television commercials for Coca-Cola spanning over fifty years. The Real Thing, the final gallery, features the story of Coca-Cola and Santa Claus and the beginnings of Coca-Cola as a truly global brand. Don't miss the amazing display of the evolution of product packaging and vending machines, including the first soft drink dispenser used in space. Club Coca-Cola is the perfect way to top off your World of Coca-Cola experience. In "Taste of the States" enjoy servings of favorite soft drinks offered throughout the U.S. In addition, the International Lounge offers "Tastes of the World," a sampler of over 20 exotic beverages made by The Coca-Cola Company around the world that are not available in the U.S. Coke Art Folk Art - During the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, the Company orchestrated the Coca-Cola Olympic Salute to Folk Art exhibit, which included the work of folk artists from 54 countries who used indigenous materials to create Coca-Cola contour bottles. These three-dimensional sculptures ranged from two- to 12-feet tall. Don't miss the eight bottles that World of Coca-Cola features in this unusual collection. |
