Georgia is full of history that helped make our great nation. Almost everywhere you turn, you will find an historical courthouse or private home that once was owned by a politician or a family of industry. Georgia is full of historical plantations and schools; even old hardware stores and train yards. If you like to see what it was like to live in the past this is a great state to spend some time. There are many of these historical buildings on the tourist attraction list in just about every city in Georgia. They are a fun addition to any vacation and will give you a sense of pride our forefathers had each day as they came home from a long day at work.
