Location of Shoshone Falls

Shoshone Falls
Twin City, Idaho

Shoshone Falls, located on the Snake River near Twin Falls, is known as the Niagra of the West. At 212 feet, it is actually higher than Niagra's Horseshoe Falls by over 50 feet. The falls are best viewed during the Spring runoff from a park overlook on the south rim just outside the Twin Falls city limits. This is definitely a must-see for anyone who finds themself in the Twin Falls area.
