Caldwell is a bustling town of over 30,000 people. Located just outside of Boise, Caldwell is a great place to stay if you are looking to explore the area but do not want to stay in the big city. From here, you can sample everything that Boise has to offer as well as the many attractions outside of Boise that fill the region. The Snake River Birds of Prey Area, Three Island Crossing State Park and Bruneau Dunes State Park are just a short drive away. At Bruneau Dunes, you can climb the largest single structured sand dune in North America or peer at the stars through Idaho's largest telescope.
