New Orleans Jazz Festival
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is called Jazz Fest for short. Is a massive that event brings hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world each year. Jazz Fest is a ten day cultural festival which includes a huge verity of musicians, cooks, and crafters from all over the world.
The Louisiana Heritage Fair is held at the Fair Grounds Race Course, 1751 Gentilly Boulevard. There are a couple food areas so you can check out both to see what is cooking. Music is played at several locations so you can pick and choose what group you would like to listen to.
You can expect to see and eat fantastic southern cooking. Along with the world famous Cajun dishes that will surely include something hot and spicy. You can almost smell the heat from here. Don't forget, the greatest Jazz music in the world will be going for 10 great jazz filled days. This festival brings out creative people as well, to show you their hand crafted items. I bet you could even find a Voodoo doll or two here.
If you like to dance then don't be afraid to just do it. Many wonderful people will be decked out in their festival wardrobe, and will give you a great show so get out to the Jazz Fest and have a great time.
