The Louisiana Children's Museum has great deal of things that will challenge your child and help them learn.

Check out the Plasma Ball and watch your Child's face as he or she has a charge spread outwards to their hands.

The Body Works area will help them learn how your body helps them get around in their play and to help them understand that they need to take care of their bodies.

If your child likes to pretend he or she is a policeman or fireman, then the Safety Zone is a great place to let them spend some time as they pretend they are catching the bad guys or putting out a fire and saving the day.

If you wish to help them learn how to eat better as they grow up then you will want to spend some time in the Team Turtle Training Camp.

Take them through the Speed Zone and show them how the mass of a shape affects the speed of it. They can throw balls of different sizes and shapes and the radar will show them the speed of each item thrown.

Be sure to take them to the Hoist Away area so they can see the power of the pulley. This area shows them that no matter how strong or weak you might be you can lift anything if you have the right leverage.

If you have a Capitan in your mitts then you will surely want to take them to the Little Port of New Orleans area. There they can pretend they are a Captain on a mighty Tug Boat and navigate a barge down the mighty Mississippi River.

Make sure you check out the Eye to Eye area. This area will allow your child to see just how the miracle of sight is really given to all creatures on the planet.

The Little Sav-A-Center will give the little shopper in your family some great fun as he or she strolls down the aisle picking and choosing their favorite items. Then they can pretend to check out and bag the items to take home.

These are only some of the great things that you can do with your children. But what ever section you choose you will help your child learn and grow as an adult. Most of all it is a lot of fun!
