The Depot Museum The Depot Museum The Depot Museum is located in the 1907 headquarters of the Duluth & Iron Range Railroad, and highlights the early pioneering history of Lake County. Exhibits range from McDougal archeological dig artifacts and a Paleo-Indian display to the first shipment of Iron Ore from Minnesota and the vast logging companies from the turn of the 20th century. Exhibits The Collector's Room The Theater Room The Children's Room, Porcelain Doll Collection, Toys down through the years and Butterfly Collections Interactive activities for children - dress up in a firefighter's hat and coat and have your picture taken alongside the Smokey the Bear sign.
