Ulm Pishmun State Park Ulm Pishmun State Park Ulm Pishkun State Park is located just off of I-15 about 16 miles south of Great Falls. Ulm Pishkun is the site of one of the oldest, longest and most used buffalo jumps in the country. For 1500 years, Native Americans stampeded buffalo over these cliffs and used them for food, lodges and tools. At the bottom of the cliffs is a visitor center where you can learn about the relationship between the Indians and the buffalo and the events that tool place here. When you are finished at the visitor center, drive up to the top and imagine being there as a thousand buffalo come thundering toward the cliffs. |
