Mueller Planetarium is located 14th & "U" Streets in the University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall) on the University of Nebraska - Lincoln City Campus. To reach Mueller Planetarium from Interstate 80 or Nebraska Highway 2, take 27th Street to Vine Street, then turn west on Vine Street. To reach Mueller Planetarium from O street, on O street proceed to 17th Street, which is one way to the north. Follow 17th Street to Vine Street, turn left on Vine Street and proceed to 14th. You easily will be able to see Morrill Hall to your left from the corner of 14th and Vine Street. Morrill Hall is the building with the statue of a life-sized bronze mammoth in front. Planetarium visitor parking is available in front of Morrill Hall and in the parking garage west of Memorial Stadium. Downtown hotels and parking are within 10 minutes walking distance.
Mueller Planetarium and the University of Nebraska State Museum facilities are wheelchair accessible. Enter through the elevator located to the right of the main entrance.
Visitors to Mueller Planetarium can view the latest images from the Hubble Space Telescope in the lobby's ViewSpace display.
Tickets to public shows are sold at the front desk of the Museum Out of consideration to those around you and for copyright purposes, no photography, video or audio recording is allowed in the Planetarium during shows. Please silence your cell phone during the program. Restrooms are available in the Planetarium lobby. Please use them before the show starts. If you leave the theater once the show has begun you will not be re-admitted for safety reasons.
