The Humboldt River is located in northern Nevada. Unlike most rivers, it does not have an outlet into the ocean. It empties into the Humboldt Sink. The Rye Patch State Recreation Area is located along the Humboldt River. It provides great fishing for crappie, white bass, black bass, walleye, and Sacramento Perch. You can also fish for channel catfish here and in the river.
