Nevada offers a variety of fishing opportunities throughout the state from urban ponds and reservoirs to remote mountain lakes and rivers. It has over 200 ponds, lakes and reservoirs which provide nearly 400,000 surface acres of sport-fishing opportunity. Both Nevada and Arizona share Lake Mead, North America's largest reservoir which lies along the Colorado River. More than 500 streams and rivers span nearly 3,000 fishable miles offering a wide variety of fishing opportunities.
