New York has a great deal of historical cemeteries and monuments that you can visit when you are on vacation or just out to pay your respects. If you are into the paranormal they offer you a way to try to communicate with the ones that have come and gone. They are a great way to see who lived in the area in the past and it is interesting to see if you can picture what they looked like and what kind of person they were. If you are a history buff you can write their names down or take a picture of their headstone and do the research to find out more about them. Your entire family can get into this and have some fun learning about our forefathers in the process.
