New York has thousands of historical buildings that you can check out when you are on vacation or just out to learn about your area. Today there are many of these buildings open to the public and some of them offer tours. They are a great way to get a glimpse into the past and you can learn about who built the building and what it was used for. Today we build many buildings that can be used for many different things. If you look back at the historical buildings of yesterday most were built for a specific purpose. A great deal of them are still being used for that purpose and they all make for an interesting day.
