This is the law office of Mr. Thomas Richards, Esquire. Acquired by Hale Farm in 1967, this small Federal style building was built in Jefferson, Ohio in 1825 and was the law office of Benjamin Franklin Wade, a famous abolitionist and US Senator from Ohio. Today you may talk with Yale educated Mr. Thomas Richards, Esquire about the political and legal issues of the day. Middle son, Milton, joined the 7th Illinois in April. Squire Richards waits for word of his whereabouts and wonders what the future has in store for his other sons.
