Ohio has been a part of shipping goods from the United States to Canada for hundreds of years. That means you have plenty of opportunity to check out historical boats. In most cases you are allowed to board the ships and go below and check out what it was like to have worked on them. Some of them are pretty tight and the quarters are cramped. Others were much larger and had some wonderful cabins to stay in while crossing the Great Lakes. Make sure you give yourself some time to visit one or two of these ships. The entire family will have some fun and you can get some nice pictures to remember your trip.
