Enid Oklahoma is a nice small town that still has most of it's historical buildings in tact. This town is filled with history. It was one of the primary stops for the Chisholm Trail. And once was in the heart of Indian Country.

It is a collecting place for the area farmers with huge grain elevators. When you visit this city you will see many of them and as the Wheat is harvested you will see a line of trucks waiting to dump their grain.

Enid, Oklahoma is also one of the cities that I lived in when I was a young boy. I remember getting up and going down to watch the trucks unload their grain at harvest time. As well as trying to catch the pigeons at the elevators.

Today Enid is beginning to take on a new look as it sprawls outward. New homes and shopping centers are popping up and helping this small historic town grow closer to a modern city.
